Stefano Pedrini is an Italian Artist born in Sondrio (1980).
Stefano attended the class of Painting at the Fine Art Academy in Urbino and the course of Illustration and Multimedia Animation at IED Milan. Stefano works serially, across a variety of medias. He forms diverse bodies of work that often depict nature or dive into the human condition known as ‘Pareidolia’, which leads perception to impose meaningful interpretation so that one detects an object, pattern or meaning where there is none.
Stefano and his family lives on Bundjalung Country in the Northern Rivers of NSW.
Stefano acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which he lives and work — the Arakwal, Minjunbal and Widjabal people of the Bundjalung nation. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
